The Optimax TPS200V is the king of the pallet strapping range, offering the speed and consistency of arch strapping on a grander scale. Fully automatic and PLC programmable, it can either be operated as a standalone unit or incorporated within an automated palletisation line.
On the most elementary level, pallets can be placed within the arch with a fork lift or pallet truck, but a programmable conveyor will considerably speed up the process. Loaded by fork lift, this will feed the pallet into the arch, align it with multiple strapping points and then return it to the loading position.
Integrated within a palletisation line, the TPS200V can deliver output rates of up to 70 double-strapped pallets per hour without constant operator involvement. It is also manufactured in 9mm, 12mm and 16mm strap widths and a selection of arch sizes.
As sophisticated as the TPS200V is in its performance it is also extremely user-friendly, with all commands being directed from a touchscreen display and the strapping reel externally mounted for easy changeover. An indexing strapping head and adjustable strap tension ensure that each pallet is strapped securely and without risk of damage.
